Infrared Sauna
Glowing skin from the inside out
What is an Infrared Sauna?
Infrared saunas use infrared wavelengths to penetrate deep within your tissue, muscles, and joints. By targeting your body at a cellular level, the wavelengths encourage your core temperature to gently rise, thereby increasing blood circulation, stimulating the lymphatic, immune, and cardiovascular systems. Allowing the body and mind to reach a state of complete rest and rejuvenation.
Our Infrared Sauna session comes with complementary RED Light Therapy to support collagen production, muscle recovery and skin glow, and complementary Chromotherapy (colour light therapy) to calm the nervous system and harmonise the mind and body.
Enjoy all of this in our peaceful and private Sauna room, complete with tranquil music and refreshments.
Benefits of Infrared Sauna
When to shower after an Infrared sauna?
It's generally recommended to shower about 30-60 minutes after an infrared sauna session, allowing your body to cool down gradually and continue sweating for optimal detoxification.
Waiting 30-60 minutes after your sauna session before showering can maximize the benefits.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Gradual Cooling:
Stepping into a cold shower immediately after a sauna session can be a shock to your system and may not be ideal.
Allowing your body to cool down naturally, even for a short time, can be more comfortable and beneficial.
Continued Detoxification:
Even after the sauna session, your body continues to sweat and release toxins as it cools down. Waiting to shower allows this process to continue, potentially maximizing the detoxification benefits of the sauna.
Hydration and Rest:
After your sauna session, take a few minutes to rest and rehydrate. This will help your body regulate its temperature and replenish electrolytes lost during the sauna.
